Have you heard of a layup program?  There are programs out there that will allow you to reduce coverage for vehicles that aren't driven during the winter.  Some of these programs will automatically restart your policy at a specified date.  If not don't forget to update the coverage before you get that vehicle out for spring.  In order to cover seasonal products it is important to understand some of the basic insurance terminology that is associated.  The main components to understand are:

Comprehensive:  Other than collision, if damage occurs while car not being driven.  Also covers your vehicle if it strikes a living object (deer/bear/etc)
Collision:  Coverage that will cover you in the event of an accident
Liability:  Coverage that protects others from your actions.
